Child psychotherapy produces numerous benefits for this audience, as, in addition to helping the child to express themselves better in a safe and welcoming environment, they also have the chance to expand their socio-emotional skills, such as creativity, communication, and emotional control, among others. Thus, the present study aims to report the experience of the psychoeducational action of psychotherapeutic practices in Gestalt-Therapy with children, experienced in the extension project of the Psychotherapeutic Theories and Techniques discipline of the psychology course at Faculdade Estácio de Belém, in a square in the State of Pará. The educational activities were extremely edifying, both for the students participating in the project and for the people who participated in it, constituting an environment of mutual learning.
