One of the Winners, Guido Arditi, was born in Argentina in 1986. Thanks to his excellent academic performance at an early age, he was awarded a scholarship to finish high school at The Mahindra United World College of India, where he graduated in 2005. He studied Philosophy at the University of Buenos Aires in his home country, and in 2012 was awarded a scholarship to study at the University of the Republic in Uruguay. His final thesis was "Romantic Love from a Marxian Perspective" for which he won the Demetrios Prize in 2019. Since 2016 he is doing his Ph.D. at the University of Buenos Aires. He has participated in numerous congresses in different universities in Argentina, and also in Montevideo (UdelaR), Puerto Rico (UPR) and New York (NYU/Columbia). His work has been published in specialized magazines in different countries such as Argentina, Uruguay, Brazil, Mexico, and Colombia. He has also given a TEDx lecture and has been invited on some radio programs that can be found online.
