Each chapter of textbook presents, and reflects to the standards, technical details of the airports architectural design, accompanied with photographs, drawings, sketches and case studies. The textbook is divided into eleven chapters as a result of the specificity of the study to the airports architectural design. The first, second and third chapters, presents and elaborates the history of the aviation and airports, followed by the classification and systems of the airports mega structures. The chapters from four to five: introduces the basic principles of airports terminal functions, followed by the main chapter of this monograph, which describe the concepts, guidelines and conceptual design principles of airports architectural design, further strengthened the design principles with three case studies. The chapters from six to eight: defines the technical platforms or terminals, describing the mission and function of the cargo terminals, Logistic and technical tracts, followed by the ten research-case studies models of the globally known International Airports. The chapters from nine to eleven: describes the social responsibility in the context of the hygiene, human equality, and symbol signs. Chapter ten especially serve as a reminder for the students, for the respect they should have in any design situations and circumstances, when they have the opportunity to practice the architectural design as a creative human holistic process.
